20 Years of Growing IT Support

Accent Consulting was founded in 2002 by Phil Wright – his IT support business had grown enough through word-of-mouth and referrals for us to open our first office in Lafayette, Indiana. We hired our first full-time technician and incorporated as Accent Consulting Services, LLC.

 The beginning of 2007 brought Accent our first Microsoft achievement: Our Freeport VM video email application was certified for the Microsoft Windows platform. Then the fall brought more recognition when Accent was awarded Microsoft Certified Partner status with Competencies and Specializations in ISV and Software Solutions.

IT Support Lafayette

In April 2008 Accent achieved the highest level of certification from Microsoft, Gold Certified Partner status. Accent also earned the Microsoft’s Networking Infrastructure Competency, confirming Accent’s expertise in network design, implementation, management, and support. This qualification certifies Accent’s knowledge in multiple Windows Server Solution environments.

In the fall of 2016, Accent opened its second office with local IT technicians and sales consultants in Fort Wayne to support our clients in north east Indiana.  By 2021, Accent expanded its team and offerings with the launch of its third office location in Indianapolis. With a key focus on cyber security, Accent successfully scaled up efforts on business security and paved the way in securing how our clients conducted business in the ever-changing digital economy. Our efforts were recognized by the industry when they were named as one of the world’s premier managed service providers in the prestigious 2021 Channel Futures MSP 501 rankings.

Accent has consulted over 1,000 businesses with IT support in the United States, Mexico, and Europe. Our primary verticals are Agricultural, Energy, Real Estate, Financial Services, Legal, and Manufacturing. Accent actively supports remote IT infrastructure in over 20 states and 7 countries, with an extensive team of certified support technicians, software developers, network engineers, system administrators, and computer consultants all work together to find the best possible solutions for our clients.

For the majority of our clientele we provide nearly one hundred percent of the IT support, acting more like a full time in-house IT department than that of an outsourced company. Our goal with each customer is to assist in implementing the best IT solution tailored specifically for their individual needs. With the broad range of customers we service, in all industries and geographically diverse locations, we are exposed to situations daily that many IT companies or personnel never encounter.
