Accent Consulting Supports Cub Scouts Pack 909

We are proud to share our recent donation to Cub Scouts Pack 909, which is run by their Cubmaster and our Senior Systems Engineer, Keith!

Our owner, Phil Wright, was involved in Boy Scouts growing up and has fond memories of his experience, leading him to be supportive of Keith’s work with the organization since 2015. Accent has gladly helped by providing various materials and volunteer paid time off for Keith to help with events and attend leadership conferences in previous years. This year, we wanted to be able to directly impact the children and families of Keith’s Cub Scout pack by providing a monetary donation to be used to help reduce the costs of membership.

About Pack 909

Cub Scouts Pack 909 is an elementary-aged coed group based out of the Crawfordsville American Legion in Montgomery County. Under Keith’s leadership, the children in this pack are educated on the Scout Oath and Law. They’re also taught the importance of their character, community, and environment. These kids work hard to learn leadership skills, the basics of design and engineering, creativity, and understanding what it means to be patriotic. The members of Pack 909 are continuously being exposed to values and concepts meant to help them grow and excel in both character and leadership.

Keith's Involvement with Boy Scouts of America

As previously mentioned, Keith currently serves as the Cubmaster for Cub Scouts Pack 909. However, he is also a committee member for the local Troops 247/365. Troops 247 and 365 are a coed group for middle school and high school students. In addition to these titles, Keith will also be holding a leadership position for an upcoming Venturing Crew for anyone aged 14 – 21. Venturing Crews aim to allow both teens and young adults to expand their horizons through high adventure outdoor activities, such as rafting and mountain climbing.
