Accent Consulting's 2026 Summer Family Fun Event

The evening started with the kind of summer weather that keeps everyone guessing. A rain delay may have slowed things down for a bit, but it also gave us one of our favorite sights of the night: a crowd of Accent team members and families huddled together through the delay, decked out in blue shirts and ponchos through, while kids splashed through puddles, making the best of a wet situation.

Once the game got rolling, it turned into a true nailbiter. José Urquidy, a former World Series champion, gave fans a show on the mound, allowing just one hit across six innings. The Indians trailed late, but the bottom of the ninth brought all the drama you could ask for.

Indianapolis loaded the bases in the final inning, tied the game and drew a walk-off walk to seal a 4-3 win over the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders.

Not a bad backdrop for a company outing.

More than anything, the night gave us a chance to step away from the normal pace of work and spend time together as friends, not just coworkers. We loved seeing our team members, their partners and kids enjoying the ballpark, catching up in the stands and sharing a memorable night in downtown Indianapolis.

At Accent, we know culture is built in everyday moments, but events like this give us a chance to pause and celebrate the people behind the work. Our team shows up every day for our clients, and we’re grateful for the families who support them along the way.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s Summer Family Outing. Rain delay and all, it was a night we won’t soon forget.
